EarthFest and a March, This Week in Upper Dublin

Check out a few of the happenings this week in Upper Dublin.

 

On Monday, April 22, the Upper Dublin School Board will meet in the high school cafeteria at 6 p.m. Superintendent Michael Pladus will give a presentation called “Bridging the Budget Deficit: Part III.”

The Upper Dublin Historical Commission will meet across the street, in the township building on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, April 26, Temple University Ambler will hold an Earth Day event called EarthFest. The event will feature more than 80 exhibitors, including the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Philadelphia Zoo, The Franklin Institute and the Academy of Natural Sciences.


The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college. For more information on the event, click here.

On Sunday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Temple University Ambler will host the March of Dimes’ March for Babies 2013. The walk will highlight the March of Dimes’ ongoing campaign to raise public awareness, reduce the rates of pre-term birth and increase research to find the cause of prematurity. The event will be the 16th consecutive year Temple Ambler has hosted the event.
