Citrin Cooperman Partner Elected to Board of Philadelphia Youth Program

B.J. Hoffman, CPA, a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Philadelphia office, has been elected to the governing board of directors of Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, a nonprofit organization that serves underprivileged young people in Philadelphia.

Formerly known as Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education, the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education center is located in the northwest Philadelphia neighborhood of East Falls. The organization offers educational programs and positive opportunities to more than 4,500 children each year, especially those from under-resourced families.

The group uses high-quality tennis instruction, delivered by experienced instructors, to motivate young people to succeed in life. The programs teach rewarding lessons and help children build confidence, creating a framework of personal discipline that prepares young people to become active, responsible citizens.
