Temple Urgent Care Opens in Fort Washington

Temple University Health System is opening their fourth urgent care facility in Fort Washington. Earlier this year, Temple opened another urgent care center in Jenkintown, according to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Temple University urgent care facilities "are geared toward patients that have unexpected non-emergency illness, injury or situation — such as an ear infection, poison ivy, a cut that needs stitches or a sprained ankle."

The center opened Monday at 515 Pennsylvania Ave. and will be open 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
