Shop & Dine Event to Promote Local Commerce

Inaugural event will be held Dec. 10.

The following was provided to Patch by the Lower Gwynedd Business Association:

On Tuesday, December 10th, the Lower Gwynedd Business Association (LGBA) will host their inaugural Shop & Dine event. The Spring House Shop & Dine program was developed by the LGBA as a fun and festive way to promote local commerce during the holiday shopping season.

Shop & Dine will take place throughout the day at participating merchant locations in Spring House. During the event, area holiday shoppers can take advantage of one-day-only sales promotions and menu specials, as well as register to win one of three gift certificates, valid at over 25 participating LGBA member businesses. The first place winner will receive a $100 gift certificate. Both the second and third place winners will receive a $50 gift certificate. No purchase is necessary to register, but shoppers must be at least 18 years of age to enter.

To register, shoppers will need to obtain a copy of the Shop & Dine event flyer, which will be available at participating locations, or online at www.ILikethePike.com. To be eligible, participants must have their event flyer stamped at no fewer than three participating locations and submit their completed forms to one of the member businesses by the end of the day on December 10th.

The association is committed to the growth and success of local businesses and— in collaboration with the Township—strives to create a thriving and attractive destination for potential new businesses. The LGBA meets monthly to discuss marketing opportunities and business development to unite Lower Gwynedd businesses in an effort to strengthen its vibrant and growing community.
