Kenmore fan heaters sold at Sears and Kmart are being recalled because of a fire hazard risk.

Broken motor mounts can cause the units to overheat, catch fire and ignite nearby items, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers, the Consumer Products Safety Commission said.

Sears and Kmart have received seven reports of such fires, the CPSC said, including two that caused injuries.

Consumers who purchased this heater are cautioned to stop using them immediately, and to return them for a full refund.

The heaters in question were sold at stores nationwide from September to November 2013.
