Nave Fro-Yo Opens in Maple Glen

With 14 frozen yogurt flavors, and 70 toppings, Nave is the newest addition to the Upper Dublin business community. Owners, Lisa and Michael Feldman, owned a Rita's Italian Ice for eight years before deciding to open Nave.

Unlike some of the other fro-yo shops that have been opening in the area, Nave is completely home grown and family owned. Lisa told Patch that she lived in Upper Dublin for over 20 years and loves the township and wanted to get back into Upper Dublin. She added that the location in Maple Glen was a perfect spot for Nave because it was central to the township, as well as being close to Horsham and Ambler.

Nave carries 14 flavors of frozen yogurt every day, including a combination of nonfat, low fat, no sugar added, non-fat and a dairy free sorbet.

They also carry 70 toppings, including fresh fruits such as bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries; a variety of bursting bob as, candies, nuts sprinkles, Ghirardelli toppings, hot fudge, whipped cream and more. They also carry a variety of sugar tree toppings.

Lisa said that toppings change based on customer requests, fruits change seasonally and more. 

There is seating inside and, with warmer weather on the way, seating will be outside as well. Inside, there is a kids table, perfect for the little ones, and a couple of lounge chairs for relaxing.

Lisa said they are interested in hosting fundraisers for local non-profits and plan on offering entertainment on the weekends as well.

Lisa told Patch that her children graduated from the Upper Dublin School district and Nave is named in honor of her son, Evan, that passed away last year.

Nave, at 1925 Norristown Rd. in Maple Glen, is open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Learn more about Nave on their Facebook page.
