Children's and Baby Sunscreen Recalled for Microbial Contamination

W.S. Badger Co. Inc. announced a recall of its 4-ounce SPF 30 baby sunscreen lotion and 4-ounce SPF 30 kids sunscreen lotion due to a microbial contamination. According to the recall alert from the Food and Drug Administration, "The products were tested and found to be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida parapsilosis and Acremonium fungi."

Sunscreens were sold in the US at major retailers as well as independent food co-ops and pharmacies.
