Sports and Entertainment Marketing
This class covers marketing within the context of the sports and entertainment industries. Students will study economics, public relations, marketing plans, as well as careers in sports and entertainment.
Digital Media: 2-D Animation
Students can bring their artwork to life in this class. By learning the tools and techniques in this class, students will create and bring to life original characters, scenes and props.
Electronics and Robotics
For the first half of this class, students will have hands on experience using a variety of electronic devices to learn the principals of electronics. Then, they will apply that knowledge to design and build a functioning robot of their own.
Introduction to Coaching and Officiating
Juniors and seniors who wants to develop leadership skills and set the groundwork for future job opportunities as coaches, physical education teachers and officials. Students will examine the best coaching practices, creative motivational pre-game speeches, design and implement practice sessions and more.
This Virtual High School class introduces students to the theory and structure of screenwriting. Emphasis is upon the literary conventions of the form - character, conflict, plot, dialogue - as well as the technical elements which make scripts and screenwriting unique.
