Upper Dublin Residents Hold Vigil for Victims of Sandy Hook

Twenty-six balloons released as a final good-bye to the children and teachers lost in the tragedy.

Upper Dublin residents gathered  in front of the Upper Dublin Township Building to pay tribute, pray, and mourn the loss the the 26 victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting from December 14, according to an article in the Ambler Gazette.

The vigil was organized by Upper Dublin resident Monica Hartsock and 18-year-old, Barnagate, NJ resident Michelle Lombardi performed her song "26 Kisses" at the vigil, which she wrote in response to the mass shooting.

"The ceremony ended when Hartsock released the balloons into the air as a final goodbye to those lost."
