As many as 14,000 people in Bucks County were without power Tuesday evening.

An evening thunderstorm Tuesday caused thousands of power outages in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Outage maps and figures reported by the Bucks County Courier Times indicate more than 14,000 customers in Bucks County alone lost power due to the storm.

“PECO is working around the clock to get all customers restored as safely and quickly as possible,” the utility company announced Tuesday night.

An outage map on PECO’s website shows that as many as 1,000 customers in Bucks County are still without power. The map shows that as many as 1,000 customers in Montgomery County are also still without power.
