Temple Ambler to Study Ambler, Upper Dublin Flooding

A storm water management plan is being developed for three tributaries to the Wissahickon creek.

A storm water management plan is being developed by the Center for Sustainable Communities at Temple University for three urban watersheds in Ambler, Upper Dublin and Whitpain, according to an article in the Ambler Gazette.

The information from the study will "help to redefine floodplain maps and a develop new storm ordinance."

"The research is part of a regional watershed study and that the Ambler area is part of the Wissahickon watershed," according to Jeffrey Featherstone in the article.
