Is More Snow on the Way?

Highs will be in the 60s Tuesday, but we could get snow Wednesday night.

Is it possible that winter isn’t done with us yet?

Tuesday will be pleasant and warm, with highs reaching the 60s, but the good times won’t last.

Temperatures will plummet Wednesday, the National Weather Service said, with lows in the very low 20s. And that extreme cold will bring with it the chance of snow.

Precipitation will begin around noon Wednesday in the form of rain, but as temperatures fall, the rain will turn to snow. The likelihood of snow is higher in the higher elevations, but it is possible that everyone in Eastern Pennsylvania could see accumulation, the National Weather Service said.

A hazardous weather outlook is in place for the region.

This isn’t the last of the snow, either; the National Weather Service is tracking another storm that could bring more snow our way early next week.
