This summer Ambler Theater audiences can travel the Yellow Brick Road, climb a magic beanstalk and fly off to Neverland with Family Stages. The Wizard of Oz, Jack and the Beanstalk and Peter Pan are set for Thursday morning performances in July and August. On Thursday, July 10 Dorothy and Toto will take the stage searching for the great wizard and the way home to Kansas. This delightful one hour version of The Wizard of Oz is performed by only two actors. Sarah Gafgen plays Dorothy and Steve Seyfried plays everyone else! The costumes fly fast and furiously as Steve brings all the familiar characters to life: Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Wizard and Witches, Good and Wicked. It’s a non-stop whirlwind of fun! The summer series continues with Jack and the Beanstalk on July 31 and Peter Pan on August 14. All of the plays are performed in the two-actor format that has thrilled Family Stages audiences for over 30 years. Curtain time for all shows is 11:00 AM. The plays are staged in the historic, beautifully restored Ambler Theater, 108 E Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA. Tickets are $12 for adults and children and $10 for seniors and grandparents. Children under 3 are free. Special rates are available for school and camp groups. Tickets can be reserved by calling Family Stages at 215-886-9341 or by emailing email@example.com. They can also be purchased on line at www.familystages.org.
