The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

“The Forgotten Garden” was almost the forgotten novel (at least to me).  If it weren’t for the patience and persistence of a friend and fellow book club member, this book would have never found its way into my hands.  Looking back, that would have been a great loss for me…because Kate Morton’s “The Forgotten Garden” is not just a great story but a treasure.  An abundance which is meant to be gazed at, touched, discussed, and remembered.

Kate Morton wrote a novel in which (unless one is well versed in history) the reader can almost believe that what is being read is based in nothing but fact. The history IS as magical as the story itself.
