As far back as I can remember, I have always loved books. I eat, sleep, breathe, dream (both night and day), and talk about books. I know, I know..I must be super fun to be around if you are solely a sports fan or an anti-reader. Now don’t be silly, I can totally carry on conversations about other things such as actors/actresses and which characters they would be best suited for if my favorite books were ever adapted onto the big screen..heehee..just kidding! No really, I do enjoy many things but as I have said over and over again, I am a words person..lyrical. I allow the words to seep in through my eyes or through my ears and go directly to my heart and soul. That is where they stay. I may not always remember who created the words that rocked my world (sorry Tiff!!), but I will always remember the way they made be feel....
One of the most common questions I get asked is “Why do I always need a “Happily Ever After” (HEA)?” My answer is always the same… “Life can be full of bad shit…the scales are sometimes tipped heavily on the side of awful…I thought I looked sexy while crossing the street and people were waiving at me only to realize that my dress was stuck in my pantyhose and my thong was exposed to the world…Bad things happen to wonderful people…It always rains on the days I get my car washed.” I WANT..no..I NEED a HEA when I am reading a book....
