The Upper Dublin softball team could not hold off the offensive power of the Cheltenham Lady Panthers on Thursday, losing 10-1 and dropping their record in league-play to 3-4.
Ashleigh Sharp knocked in the lone run for the Upper Dublin squad, and pitcher Kristin Ganderton was tagged with the loss, allowing five earned runs and striking out six.
Cheltenham scored two runs in the first and fifth innings, with an additional run in the sixth, however the game was put out of reach when the Lady Panthers exploded for a five-run inning in the seventh.
The Lady Cardinals are now 5-6 overall.
