Upper Dublin's Mary Winslow turns 90

With nine decades in the history books, Upper Dublin's Mary Winslow is looking forward to the future!

Not everyone gets gold lamé 3 ft x 3 ft acrylic numerals on a birthday.  And, especially not everyone’s balloon say 90!  Mary Winslow, Upper Dublin’s Notary Public across from the Jarrettown Hotel along Limekiln Pike, began her 10th decade on Tuesday, May 15.

Mary had planned a quiet birthday evening at home with the Phillies on her TV, but her three adult children had different ideas.

He daughter, Marilyn came from Pittsburgh to join Charles and Wayne, who live locally, in surprising Mary with box seats for the Phillies-Astros game.

Not only was it a thrilling win by the Phils, but Mary was treated to an encore solo walk around the bases with the Phillie Phanatic.

Her kids said Mary was ready to run the bags but settled for a triumphal walk with the Phanatic holding her hand.
