Upper Dublin Gas Prices Dip
Sunoco still the cheapest place for gas, though no gas station raised its prices
Four of the six gas stations being tracked week-to-week by Upper Dublin Patch kept the price of their regular gas the same, while two gas stations lowered it.
All six of the gas stations kept the price of a gallon of premium gas the same.
According to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas across the nation and in the Philadelphia region is $3.74, down about $0.04 over last week. The national and regional averages are about six cents lower than the average of the six gas stations in the Upper Dublin area. Upper Dublin residents are also paying about $0.12 more per gallon than the national average for a gallon of premium dino juice.
For the cheapest regular gas, drivers have two options: either the Cumberland Farms gas station or Sunoco — it’s going for $3.64 at both places. Both places dropped their prices by about $0.10 over last week. Sunoco has the cheapest premium gas at $4.09 per gallon.
It cost the Patch Mobile about $1.80 to drive the 9.7-mile loop looking for the cheapest gas considering an average mpg of 21.9.
