The assigned detail officers will patrol those areas of Upper Dublin Township not accessible by police vehicles; these areas include Upper Dublin Township parks and recreation properties, School District of Upper Dublin properties, golf courses and country clubs, and large wooded natural areas. In addition, the assigned detail officers will work closely with campus and school safety and security personnel as well as community leaders, local residents and merhcants for the sole purpose of enforcing Federal, State and Local Laws. Through increased enforcement and current educational programs the Department expects to meet its goal of reducing deaths, injuries, health risks and property losses caused by underage and dangerous drinking.
