I had the pleasure of viewing “Free Range Thinking” that Act II Playhouse in Ambler on opening night. The show runs through August 12.

The show opens with Robert Dubac asking, “Who am I?”

Dubac, in this one man show, plays a man who has lost his memory and is working through the main stream way of thinking to find out what he really believes, thinks, and who he is.

Throughout the show, Dubac discusses religion, politics, race, sex, and the media.

The show is smart, educated, funny, witty, and can be offensive to some.

Hype, spin, same sex marriage, democrats, republicans, outsourcing, the f-word – nothing is off limit when Dubac takes the stage and deals with his Voice of Reason, his Inner Child, his Inner Idiot, his Common Sense, and his “Uncle Bobby,” that inner part of him that “eschews etiquette,” according to the release from Act II Playhouse.

In the end, to learn who he is, to learn what he thinks and believes, Dubac must see the truth through the illusion.
