The School of Rock (Fort Washington) not only teaches students how to play their instruments but teaches them how to play and perform live onstage. They build confidence in their students which helps them with stage presence. They introduce the kids to real performers who give the kids great advice. The kids are exposed to all different music genres giving them a variety and expands their musical interests. They not only learn instruments but also learn what it takes to put on a live performance with lighting, sound, mixing and recording. The staff is great with the kids. It's more than just rock music. They teach discipline, leadership and provide the kids with real life experiences as a mucisian. . I wouldn't send my son anywhere else.

There is always SOMETHING going on At School of Rock Fort Washington.

Just this past week, Dave Lombardo held a Meet and Greet and Jennifer Batten hosted a clinic with the students. The house bands played at The Sarahfest in Quakertown and the Phila Union soccer stadium. This weekend the Blues-show students will be playing at the Twisted Tail in Phila. Later this month, the house band will be traveling to Connecticut as special guests of Doug Wimbish for the Wimbash festival. (Back in June, they did a week long 4 city tour of Texas.)

Where can you get this much experience/opportunity all in one place??

“My daughter and I LOVE Milestones in Music…she loves having fun while playing instruments and hearing music…I love that she’s getting an early start in an appreciation and love of music! Ms. Judy Jones is awesome…she not only makes music fun for the kids, but engages the parents/caregivers! All around, one of the best programs for young (and older) children I’ve come across!!!”

Music Training Center in Montgomeryville PA! Programs are available from early childhood music to rock band camp, musical theater productions to percussion ensemble! Scheduling multiple students on different instruments is very convenient as most faculty teach there 5 days/week!

Can't say enough about the School of Rock in Fort Washington. My son has been part of that school for five years and has loved every minute. The facilities, staff and teachers are amazing. The kids get to perform on stage and the experience is like a real rock and roll concert. My son has played on stage at professional clubs an venues in the area like The Electric Factory, The Tracadero, Brownies 23 East and the Twisted Tail just to name a few. It has been great fun for the whole family being a part of this learning program and my son has been challenged to be the most well rounded musician that he can be because of this school. This year he will be graduating and going off to college and we will all really miss the school.
