Pizza Delivery Guy Allegedly Crashes into Rock Garden

According to police, the man got lost while backing up a road.

Police said a pizza delivery man from Philadelphia got lost in Upper Dublin and ended up stuck in a rock garden.

David Beal, 51, of the 8200 block of Burholme Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested Feb. 15 shortly after 6:30 p.m. after police said he drove a cream-colored Ford Ranger onto a lawn in the 700 block of Avenue H in the Ardsley section of Upper Dublin.

According to police Beal said he got lost while delivering pizza and ended up on Avenue H; Beal said he attempted to back down the street and drove across the lawn and got caught on a rock because it was dark.

Beal had bloodshot and glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol, according to police. He failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of 0.182 percent at 8:07 p.m.

Beal’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 26 at 11 a.m. in front of District Justice Patricia A. Zaffarano.

The article said that he said he got lost while delivering pizza. But was he delivering in Philly and ended up here or does he just live in Philly?
