I have noticed that when a poll consists of "likely voters".......as opposed to just throwing the question out there, the resulting numbers are quite different. When couched as "likely voters"....the numbers are not nearly so encouraging for Obama. I don't know enough about this polling company, but I do know that just as newspapers have shed their responisbility to be objective, we now find polling companies that are play the role of a political hack, viz. they are tasked with producing a result designed to dispirit their opposition. This is done by oversampling certain population segments, and cutting others down....and just as one would order a Mango chicken or a Peking duck ....or even a "Whopper" 'their way'....a poll can be constructed to 'spin' as the buyer wishes.

apparently this was a poll of delusional voters that constitute the base of the democratic party. the guy trying to play president was, is and will be an incompetent despite the propping up from the press, the sycophants on cable and the twits that conjure up these misleading polls.

I'm confused... how can "most" voters believe he's better to handle the job of presidency while being ambivalent toward his policy decisions? Is this an op-ed piece written without any level of critical or independent thinking?

The media outlets sponsoring this poll share the idealogy of the present administration. Most of the people I know beg to differ. They just want jobs, the kind you get when capitalism is chugging along, not the Govt. created types. President Obama is not interested in promoting American capitalism. He and his inner circle share a vision based on his childhood indoctrination of Marxism. They have been inculcated with a hatred of American Capitalism which they view as inherently unjust. As such, President Obama represents the perfect piedpiper for those with an exaggerated sense of entitlement and the perfect puppet for the super rich and powerful who wish to diminish American dominance and control the world's economy. Hide behind compassion and social justice. It's perfect bait. Stalin always said you could never attack America from the outside but to start from within until it falls like rotten fruit.

President inherited Bush's bad conservative policies. One useless mission in Iraq which got over 4,800 US Service Personel killed in Action along with busting our economy. When the President was ELECTED, we lost 800,000 jobs from 9/15/08, our nation's worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression till he entered office. His Bailout of the 2 of the big three was sucessfull along with saving millions of jobs . Chrysler hired 3,000 workers in Detroit . GM is now hiring. And guess what, Obama also gave tax breaks to working families along with Seniors. How come Americans aren't asking why isn't John Boner, the house Weeper leaning on Wall St. to release the TARP 1 and 2 funds meant to stimulate the economy along with the American Recovery Act of 3008 which provided millions of jobs while the eliteist of Americans continue to keep Americans hostage . Why aren't Americans asking John Boner and Mitch McConnel where are the jobs being Obama allowed for America's Coporations and wealthiest Americans keep their irresponsible taxcuts??
