That was damn white of Governor One-Term Tom to take a gander at us common people suffering.

We could have had our power back earlier if all the Mississippi workers didn't stop to gather around the Gov to get their faces on TV, and kept working thru the press junket.

Give it a break guys. Being a governor is a hard job. He could have not come. And for Pete's sake, give the power guys a break, too. They came here as voluteers; if they want to take a minute, why not?

I agree with JJ. Hey 'David' and 'Tex,' have you thanked the out of state workers, most of whom left their families late last week to get here? How about our local elected officials, township employees, fireman and police officers who have been working tirelessly to maintain order and get things back to normal.

Things could have been a lot worse. We are very grateful to all of the power crews and the police, fire, public works and postal workers who maintained services during the storm. I can't say the same for the idiot drivers who forget that wet leaves are like ice and can cause them to knock down light poles.

We are also very grateful to the power crews that came to help, and all the local folks who worked long shifts to keep us safe and minimize the damage caused by the storm! THANK YOU!!!

He is doing what he can (the gov)... he can't fix 150 000 people's power himself can he? Not sure why he picked the parking lot of the Dresher MacD's to hold a press conference, but it was kind of neat that he did. I happen to be driving by at the time and stopped by to check it out. I think overall PECO and all did a very good job over this past week. It is a huge challenge and a lot of work.

I agree with Dr. Greene. As an R, I am dissapointed that he has not spent time in SE PA. Hopefully this will change. I think he picked Upper Dublin because the Republican Area Leader has worked hard in Harrisburg as well as Todd Stephens and Tom Murt to bring $$ to this area.
