Dumpster Divers Exhibit Art in Ambler
Philadelphia's Dumpster Divers have new gallery spaces in Ambler.
The newest addition to downtown Ambler isn’t permanent, but it is pretty “trashy.” Philadelphia’s Dumpster Divers, who make beautiful pieces of art out of the stuff we throw out, have moved into town in three locations.
According to Montco REsource, the owner of a vacant storefront grants a “free lease” to the Dumpster Divers, who are responsible for the utilities to the building. There locations in Ambler include the former Candle Shop on Butler Pike, Ambler Flower Shop, and across from Toto’s on Main Street.
The Dumpster Divers originally had a gallery space on South Street in Philadelphia, which has since closed. However, the Dumpster Divers exhibit their work all around the region.
