Activision's "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" was the biggest video game launch of the year in terms of sales this week, the fourth consecutive year the "Call of Duty" franchise has earned that distinction.
The futuristic first-person shooter title did $500 million in sales in its first 24 hours on the market, Activision said.
