Ambler Kiwanis Carnival July 3 to July 7

The Ambler Kiwanis Carnival will be held July 3 to July 7 at the Wissahickon High School.

The annual Kiwanis Carnival will feature all the favorite rides and food again this year, as well as everyone's favorite fireworks!

The carnival, at the Wissahickon High School, will run Tuesday, July 3 through July 7, with fireworks scheduled for Friday, July 6 beginning around 9 p.m.

The carnival will be open 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Bracelets, which let you ride all the rides for one price, will be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for $20, and good for the entire day they are bought. Bracelets will also be available on Saturday for $15, but will only be valid from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On the night of the fireworks, parking and traffic can become a problem. Fire police will be on hand to direct traffic in and out of the parking areas.

Bracelets, tickets, food and games are cash only. Food and games do not take tickets.

That is usually up to the discretion of the person at the gate of each ride, as far as I know, but I would say if you ask nicely and have a cute kid, you have a chance. You can also just buy tickets for individual rides instead of getting the bracelet, which would probably come out better with a 2 year old anyway.
