AMBLER, PA – The Rotary Club of Ambler unanimously approved a donation of $8,600 to the newly formed Newtown Rotary Sandy Hook School Fund in Newtown, CT.  This fund is dedicated to the victims of the Sandy Hook School tragedy, their families and those in the Newtown community who have been affected, to help support both their short term and long term needs.

“By giving the money directly to the Newtown Rotary Club, we know that the funds will get to the right people and places,” said longtime Rotary Club of Ambler member, Dan Ritter.

The Rotary Club of Ambler would be more than happy to pass any donations along directly to the Newtown Rotary Sandy Hook School Fund for anyone in the community who would like to make a contribution of their own.
